Information collected

If you submit the liquidation form, it collects your first and last name, phone number, email address, business or property type, and your permission to store the inquiry and contact you about it. You may also provide a property address, approximate furniture quantity, desired timeline, project details, and whether you are also interested in buying furniture. A submission timestamp is saved with the inquiry.

Provide only information needed to discuss the project. Do not send card numbers, government identification numbers, health information, or other sensitive personal information in the form.

The site does not offer customer accounts or online checkout. It does not request payment information. This version of the site does not include advertising pixels or analytics tracking scripts.

Your browser stores a last-submission timestamp under windy-city-furniture:last-inquiry-at to discourage repeat submissions within one minute. The form does not save your inquiry text in that browser storage. You can remove this timestamp through your browser’s site-data settings.

Use and service providers

Windy City Furniture uses inquiry details to evaluate a potential liquidation project, respond to your request, and discuss related furniture needs you have indicated. Submitting this form is not a newsletter or marketing subscription. The form does not send an automatic email notification.

The website is hosted with Google Firebase Hosting, and submitted inquiries are stored in Google Cloud Firestore. These services process website requests and inquiry records to provide the site. Hosting providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, and request logs for delivery, security, and operations. Inquiry details are intended for Windy City Furniture and people authorized to support its inquiry system. They are not displayed publicly by the website. Information may also need to be disclosed when required by law or to address misuse or security incidents.

Links to Google Maps, email, and other external services take you outside this website. Those services handle information under their own terms and privacy policies. Email you send is handled by your email provider and the recipient’s email service.

Your choices and inquiry records

You can browse the site without submitting the form, or contact the showroom by phone or email instead. Required consent applies only to handling and following up on your request.

To ask about information you submitted, request a correction or deletion, or withdraw permission for further follow-up, contact windycityfurn@aol.com or (312) 225-9777. Describe the request without including sensitive documents. Identity or request details may need to be confirmed. Requests will be considered under applicable law and any records that must be kept.

Windy City Furniture manages inquiry records. Contact the showroom for information about the retention or deletion of a particular inquiry; this website does not publish a fixed retention schedule.

No online service can guarantee complete security. If you believe an inquiry was sent in error or contains information that should not have been included, contact the showroom.
